Storyteller.

I am a qualified broadcast journalist with a keen interest in storytelling through multiple mediums, including writing, photography, and film. I have first-class honours in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wolverhampton & a Higher National Diploma of Journalism in Colaiste Dhulaigh College of Further Education.

Most of my life was spent in Dublin, Ireland, where I was born. However, I recently (October 2019) took a dive into the unknown and moved to Victoria, BC, Canada.

I specialise in writing, photography and video production for a variety of disciplines including educational pieces, documentary making, commercial advertisements, and the arts. Generally speaking, I’m open to all manner of projects, no matter how ambitious!

My most recent independent project – Where the Happy Folk Live.’  – was an 8-part series that followed an 11-day trip to Ethiopia in November 2018 where I shadowed family members who brought their adopted son to the place of his birth to meet his birth parents.

Shortly before leaving Ireland, I worked with the team at SoapBox Media in Dublin on social media marketing campaigns, advertising, and content creation.

I do not associate myself with any political or religious ideologies, nor other forms of tribalistic behaviors.

If you are interested in working with me on any projects (whether upcoming or ongoing), please don’t hesitate to get in touch at contact@evanogorman.com.

Thank you for taking the time to read the above!
